Meet My Model, Taz!

I just love this dog to pieces.

She is so well behaved, gentle, good natured.....the list goes on.

I have not had a lot to do with dogs in my life - she is only the second dog to enter our lives. She lives with my daughter and her husband. Taz has had more than her share of health concerns in life. She has diabetes (2 needles a day), has been paralysed, has had most of her intestine removed, has had cataracts, the most expensive free dog you could ever meet. But we could not love her more.

I have always loved photos of dogs wearing jewellery. So here she is, looking content and very relaxed. After sitting still for this photo, she stood up, calmly strolled over to her nearby water dish, thirstily lapped up some refreshing cold water, and then came right back to continue her posing duties. Best of all, she worked for"doggy biscuits".

  3. What a sweetie in her bejewelled necklace... you'd never guess she has such an array of health concerns. Our pets can teach us a lot about living in the moment and being always ready to see the "bowl half-full" :)

    1. Thank you. I could not agree more. She never complains and is always ready for a scratch or cuddle. Even when she could not walk she was patient, tolerant of her humans.
