I thought you might enjoy some photos I am editing..... I am considering moving to Photoshop - what is your tool of choice for an editor?

Love your top photo but for some reason can't see the bottom pic :( anyway I use PicMonkey right now for photo editing because it's easy, intuitive and free. About 5 years ago I took a 6 week class on Photoshop and bought the software for myself but it never came easily to me, I was just flummoxed by the layers thing. I've been thinking of trying again but I'm still budget minded and I would need to take a class again as I'm sure the whole thing has changed again.
ReplyDeleteI have heard good things about PicMonkey. I will investigate further. Thanks.
DeleteI haven't worked in photoshop but have heard it is wonderful! Your pieces are just so pretty here friend! Every single one of them has something that draws me in! A wonderful week to you!!!! Nicole
ReplyDeleteThank you for your feedback - I appreciate it.
DeleteSince I had to get new computer I actually use Microsoft picture manager as I really only need to lighten and use a tiny bit of contrast. I did have a very simple little program I used with great success when I had my old computer but it no longer works on this one sadly and can't be upgraded.
ReplyDeleteJackie.
Thanks - you make a valid point - I want to do collages but not much more.
DeleteI just use Picasa. It's great for what I do.
ReplyDeleteI like it as well but I cannot seem to figure out how to do collages. Thanks for you comment.
DeleteI am cheap and don't require a lot of features, so Pic Monkey suits me right now. Years ago when I worked at the Staples Copy Centre, we had a great editing program, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called (only that it was NOT Photoshop). Sorry :(
ReplyDeleteThanks for your feedback - I am going to look into PicMonkey.
