EYES

My eyes are something I have always taken for granted. I have worn glasses since I was 18 months old. (Not sure how they even test your vision at that age but photos confirm.) I have also been diabetic for the last 6 years. My numbers have been under control - that is until the last 4 months or so. This has dramatically affected my eyes. I cannot read a normal type book, the computer screen is a challenge, the list goes on. I am hoping we have caught this in time and the change is temporary. The visor is not a good look.

  1. Oh bless you! I too am diabetic (since 1999), and my blood sugars are currently still adjusting as the nurse recently changed my insulin regime...
I confess I'm paranoid about it affecting my sight, and check my blood sugars every day!
Anyway, I wanted to leave a comment as I peruse your blog :)

    1. Thank you. You are very kind. I have to admit I am a little alarmed about this. But I need to focus on getting my sugars down - my usual reaction would be to eat my stress but not a good response here.
